Camel Safari
Camel Safari is one of the unique way to explore small villages in Rajasthan. Camel Safaris at the top of this ship of the desert is most exciting and soft adventure. Riding a camel is not easy as people consider. It is neither a great test for endurance. It is a great experience to explore The Thar - a vibrantly, living, desert, very colourful and hospitable.
Itineraries of 2 to 7 days can be arranged traversing approx. 40-50 kms a day on camel. These itineraries are planned in the region of Bikaner, Khimsar, Osian and Jaisalmer. Nights halts are usually given near the village to provide opportunities to mingle with the local village folks and to provide insight to the traditional way of their life and culture. Besides one camel per pax on the safari, a camel cart accompanies on the tour to handle baggage and allow riders to take rest as and when required.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival meeting, assistance & transfer to Le Meridian. Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of New Delhi. Visit India Gate, Laxminarayan Temple, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple and drive past President and the Parliament house. Return to hotel for Overnight
Day 02: Delhi - Jodhpur
Early morning transfer to airport to connect flight to JODHPUR at 0705 hrs. On arrival, at 0825 hrs, meeting & transfer to Ajit Bhawan Palace hotel. After fresh & change proceed for city tour of Jodhpur, visiting Jaswant Thada, Mehrangar Fort & Jodhpur town. Afternoon free. Evening Village Safari with dinner & Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Desert Camp
Morning transfer by surface to Jaisalmer & onward by Jeep to Fifu Desert Camp50 kms from Jaiselmer, in the heart of the desert, from where you begin your desert safari. Today you do half day safari on camel back & return to camp for dinner & overnight
Day 04: Camel Safari
Morning after breakfast proceed on camel backs for a full day Safari. We carry packed lunch today. You visit a few desert villages, to see the nomadic lifestyle of these people. Later in the evening, return to Desert camp for campfire, dinner & overnight.
Day 05: Desert Camp - Jaisalmer
Morning, after breakfast, transfer by jeep to Jaisalmer city. On arrival check- in at Fort Rajwada. Later Visit the Patwon-Ki & Salim Singh haveli, which is about 300 years old and housed the Prime Minister of Jaiselmer State. Also visit Gadisar lake, which once provided the entire water supply of the city. Next stop takes us to the 800 year Fort built of golden yellow sandstone by Prince Jaisal on the Trikuta Hill. Within its walls defended by 99 turrets lies the old city, which is nearly a quarter of modern day Jaiselmer. Walk thru the narrow yet facinating bylanes before returning to hotel. Evening proceed for sunset viewing on Sam Sand Dunes, to get the real feel of the Desert. Return to hotel for Overnight.
Day 06: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Morning after breakfast, depart leisurly by surface for Jodhpur. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Mandore Gardens - set on a plateau are the ruins of the ancient Marwar Capital now surrounded by beautiful gardens. See the Hall of heroes & the Shrine of 300 million Gods. Return to hotel for Overnight
Day 07: Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Morning depart by car for Udaipur, lake city of Rajasthan. Enroute visit Ranakpur group of Jain Temples. See some of the finest stone carvings & scultptures of this 15th century temple complex. Later on arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08: Udaipur
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Nagda, Eklinji, Nathdwara & Nagda temples. Eklinji built in 734 AD is a complex of 108 temples enclosed by high walls, devoted to the Diety of the Maharanas of Mewar, while Nathdwara built in early 18th century is a simple shrine, but one of the most celebrated of the Vaishnava shrines of Lord Krishna. Nagda was the first capital of Bappa rawal and has a magnificient torana exquisitely carved with graceful Apsaras (celestial dancers) The 10th century Templesphere are resplendent in their intricate carvings. Afternoon city sightseeing tour. Visiting the City Palace, Jagduish Temple, Sahelion - Ki- Bari, Fathesagar Lake, Rana Pratap Samarak & Sajjan Niwas Garden, before returning to hotel. Evening enjoy a boat ride across lake Pichola. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur - Delhi
Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport to connect flight to Delhi at 0810 hrs. Later on arrival at 1045 hrs transfer to Hotel Park. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour of Old Delhi. Explore the living legacy of the Mughals .Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and the Shanti Vana the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi & Jawahar Lal Nehru respectively. Evening witness "Son et Lumaire" show . Return to hotel for Overnight stay
Day 10: Depart Delhi
It's time to say goodby. In time transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward journey.
